Welcome to the Reuse Assessment and Concept Plan for the Peter Cooper Gowanda Superfund Site.  The University at Buffalo Center for Integrated Waste Management carried out this project on behalf of the Village of Gowanda, New York under a grant to the Village from the Environmental Protection Agency’s Superfund Redevelopment Initiative.  

In order to make the Reuse Assessment and Concept Plan as accessible as possible, we have made it available in a number of formats, including:

  1. The interactive Full Report, including many associated links and information sources, is available by clicking on “Full Report” at left.

  2. A Summary of each section of the report is available by clicking on “Summary” at left.

  3. Hardcopies of the Summary, with an enclosed CD-Rom that contains the Full Report and many associated documents, is available by contacting the Village of Gowanda at 716-532-3353.
